FAQs

According to the American Dental Association, you should visit the dentist every six months for an examination and thorough dental cleaning. This can allow the dentist or dental hygienist to detect issues before they come major problems, potentially saving you time, money and a great deal of discomfort.
Once you have been warmly greeted and checked in, we will ask you to fill out a complete medical and dental history so we better understand your dental needs. You will then consult with the dentist in order to discuss any concerns or questions you may have. He will perform a thorough oral examination, checking your teeth and gums and taking any necessary x-rays. If there is any treatment needed beyond a basic dental cleaning, the dentist will thoroughly explain the treatment, why it needs to be performed, and the benefits you can expect to receive as a result of the treatment. You are encouraged to ask as many questions as necessary to truly understand your oral health care.
